The 7th Harbin
International Automobile Industry Fair was the largest fair in automobile
industry of Northeast Area in 2004. It gathered more than 600 automobile
manufacturers, component & part enterprises and manufacturers
for auxiliary automobile product of 12 countries and areas in the
world, the exhibition area was about 50,000 square meters, 532 vehicles
were exhibited, 320,000 person?times of domestic and foreign businessmen
visited the fair, the total trade volume reached RMB£¤1.02 billion.
The fair achieved huge success in Northeast Area and caused intense
response in China.
The fair attracted many manufacturers of the
countries and areas including USA, France, Britain, Germany, Italy,
Japan, Russia, South Korea, Sweden, Hong Kong and Taiwan, all newly-manufactured
vehicle types of China in 2004 attended the exhibition. The classical
brands such as Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Benz, BMW, Volkswagen, VOLVO,
Jiebao, Land Rover, Peugeot, Skoda, Opel, Fuji, Audi, Hyundai, Nissan
and Hummer were extremely attractive in the fair; FAW Group, Beijing
Automobile Proprietary, Harbin Aerospace Group and Jili Group arranged
large exhibition areas; the famous manufacturers such as Shanghai
Volkswagen, Shanghai GM, Shanghai Huizhong, SAIC Chery, Guangzhou
Honda, Dongfeng Motor, Dongfeng Shenlong, Dongfeng Peugeot, Jiangling
Lufeng, Chang'an Ford, Chongqing Chang'an Suzuki, Huachen, Southeast
Automobile, Jianghuai and South Automobile, exhibited wholly-new products;
high-level coach, special automobile and restructured automobile also
attracted people very much.
The fair had the following features: large
scale, high level, authoritative. It was not only praised by the companions
in the industry, but also extremely cared by medias. Nearly 1000 reporters
at home and abroad attended the fair.
In the fair, many activities were held, including Automobile Model
Competition, Trial Driving for Famous Car, Field Photography Competition,
Automobile Stunt Performance, "Automobile should be environment-friendly,
I send you health", China Mobile Appoints you in Automobile Fair,
Field Automobile Loan Activity Week of ICBC, Automobile Model Performance,
Automobile Industry Symposium, various technical speeches etc. This
embodied the perfect combination of economy & trade and culture
in Harbin "Automobile Fair".

Fair gathered many famous manufacturers and created double-win of
economic benefit and social benefit successfully, it left immortal
history for the development of automobile industry of Northeast Area
in 2004, meanwhile, it also injected new vigor and vitality into this
